What we’ll do..
Take your home cooking skills to the next level with this private cooking class hosted by Kate Wright via Zoom in Kate’s kitchen from her home in Galway. Join a one-on-one with Kate and learn some of her secrets to great cooking from her years of experience as a chef. Have fun and learn to cook flexitarian recipes with the convenience of Kate’s online live cooking class.
Each cookery class will start with a either a cooking demonstration or Q and A to determine the cooking skills you want to develop. Kate will guide you along as you then cook the meal of your choice. You will have plenty of chances to ask Kate any questions throughout the class so you can create your dishes with ease.
Have you always wanted to learn how to make the perfect homemade bread or Irish stew? Or the most amazing Indian curry dishes, perhaps the tastiest Italian vegetarian gnocchi? Literally anything your taste buds can think up, And be prepared, Kate can show you how to make almost anything your taste buds desire, with whatever ingredients you have on hand.
Kate says she loves to see the faces full of excitement and joy at the sight of the finished product – delicious and hearth healthy meals for anytime of the year. And best of all we have lots of fun!

How to participate..
Guests Welcome Each class attendee enrolled can bring along some family members or friends from the same household so they can participate as a pair or a small group if desired. If you want friends or family who live outside the household to participate, a class attendee from each household will need to enroll for a place on the class. Join the video call Kate’s online cooking classes are hosted on the Zoom video conferencing platform. After you book, you’ll receive an email with a link to the cooking experience that you’ll join using a web browser on your Laptop and PC or the Zoom app on your mobile device. The cookery classes and experiences use both audio and video, so make sure your device can meet the requirements for a successful connection session. Learn more below regarding your internet connection. Log in to Zoom a few minutes beforehand (at least 5 minutes) to make sure that everything is working properly and that you are on time for the experience. It’s important to note that your host has the option to reject late guests so as not to interrupt the class in progress, and that guests who arrive late are not eligible for a refund. It is recommended that participants wear a protective face covering if sharing kitchen with other guests. No experience needed for this class.
Each guest should understand the cooking ingredients being used and communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions to the host. Guests should also be aware that consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase the risk of food-borne illness.
Things to know..
Any cooking class can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the cooking class is scheduled to start. Galway Cookery Classes reserves the right, in certain unavoidable circumstances, to alter the date, time or content of any cooking class and to substitute or cancel a class at any time.
