What we’ll do..
Learn how to make homemade bread like a professional. Join this easy and fun bread baking course via Zoom in Kate’s kitchen from her home in Galway. What are the secrets to baking bread successfully at home? How do you keep a sourdough starter alive? Do I have to use buttermilk in Irish Soda bread? Is it easy make a crusty white pan loaf at home?
Kate will prepare the ingredients in her kitchen and show how to make some delicious breadmaking recipes step by step with her online guests. Learn to make Kate’s extremely easy healthy brown bread, crusty sourdough or traditional Irish bread with her simple tried and tested recipes. This amazing bakery course features some of Kate’s famous Irish bread recipes plus tips on how to make alternative dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free or soy-free versions, including a dairy-free Irish Soda bread (vegan Irish Soda bread).
It isn’t all about the baking either, Kate will share lots of tips from her experience over the years, including how to buy and source gluten-free ingredients and alternatives.
Kate says she loves to see the faces full of excitement and joy at the sight, smell and taste of freshly baked breads. Making star bakers of her students and taking the fear out of baking bread at home. And best of all we have lots of fun!

How to participate..
Guests Welcome Each class attendee enrolled can bring along some family members or friends from the same household so they can participate as a pair or a small group if desired. If you want friends or family who live outside the household to participate, a class attendee from each household will need to enroll for a place on the class. Join the video call Kate’s online cooking classes are hosted on the Zoom video conferencing platform. After you book, you’ll receive an email with a link to the cooking experience that you’ll join using a web browser on your Laptop and PC or the Zoom app on your mobile device. The cookery classes and experiences use both audio and video, so make sure your device can meet the requirements for a successful connection session. Learn more below regarding your internet connection. Log in to Zoom a few minutes beforehand (at least 5 minutes) to make sure that everything is working properly and that you are on time for the experience. It’s important to note that your host has the option to reject late guests so as not to interrupt the class in progress, and that guests who arrive late are not eligible for a refund. Guest requirements
It is recommended that participants wear a protective face covering if sharing kitchen with other guests. No experience needed for this class.
Dietary preferences
Each guest should understand the cooking ingredients being used and communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions to the host. Guests should also be aware that consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase the risk of food-borne illness.

Cancellation policy
Any cooking class can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the cooking class is scheduled to start. Galway Cookery Classes reserves the right, in certain unavoidable circumstances, to alter the date, time or content of any cooking class and to substitute or cancel a class at any time.
