How to use the voucher
Our gift vouchers can be purchased in the online shop. After purchasing the cooking course or class gift voucher, we will contact the voucher purchaser to find out the details of the voucher recipient (the person who will be gifted the voucher). We will then send the gift voucher by email to the purchaser or direct to the recipient if preferred.
Cooking class vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date purchased. Cooking classes are subject to availability and occasionally can get booked up so it is advisable to book in advance. In case of not finding a suitable date for a specific cooking class we can transfer your voucher as a credit to another class or a private cooking class with Kate, however we do not offer refunds.
To use your cookery class gift voucher please get in touch directly with Kate before the expiry date. If a cooking class is booked before the expiration date of the voucher, the class can be attended after that date, but once the voucher’s expiry date has passed the class cannot be transferred.
Extending the Gift Voucher
If you would like to extend the gift voucher you can do this for the cost of €10.00 for 3 months and it can be extended up to a maximum of 1 year. On extending the voucher validity it will count solely as the amount paid and not for a specific class.
If your voucher was bought for a specific class this can be transferred to a different class but will be valued as a credit of the cost it was purchased for. So if it was bought on sale this will be taken into account. In the event we have to cancel a course or class, we will re-credit the balance of the voucher which will be redeemable against another class.
Cooking class gift cards or vouchers are not valid for bakery or other shop items.
Vouchers bought for a specific cooking class are only usable on that class and cannot be used for other classes. The gift voucher can be transferred to another class but will be used as a credit of equal value to that paid.
Gift vouchers can’t be used to buy other vouchers.
How quickly can I expect to receive my order?
We will contact you after purchasing the gift voucher for the details of the recipient. We will then prepare the voucher and email out, usually this will be no more that 48 (working) hours after the purchase. If you need to send the voucher sooner, please let us know when we contact you.
Posting Gift Vouchers
Cookery class gift vouchers are normally sent via email to the voucher purchaser (or gift recipient if requested) and not posted. After receiving the voucher, the purchaser can print it out and send by regular mail via the the post office if preferred.
