I had a wonderful time at Kate's for my afternoon stew and brown bread lesson. Kate was very personable and welcoming in her lovely home. She took me to her gardens and had me gather the herbs for my cooking, and I was shown all the techniques to make a delicious stew and brown bread. I would definitely recommend this class as a unique experience in Galway for a solo traveler or someone looking for a fun activity with a partner or family members.
